Rooted Farmstead

Rooted Farmstead is a boutique floral design studio and flower farm in Happy Valley, Pennsylvania, specializing in garden-inspired wedding and event florals.

We serve clients across Central Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia suburbs, offering full-service floral design for weddings, private events, and brand experiences. Our work is rooted in seasonality, with many blooms grown on our farm, and is known for its elevated, natural aesthetic.

During the growing season (June–October), the farm opens to the public as one of the region’s premier agritourism destinations, offering pick-your-own flowers, workshops, and community events.

Located at 138 Scott Ave, Bellefonte, PA 16823, Rooted Farmstead operates as a florist serving Bellefonte in Pennsylvania. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as farm, farm shop, flower designer, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.
